Welcome
True wisdom
is a gift that comes with modesty. The
more one learns,
the more
this is affirmed.
We were able to experience this when we set
out to get
up close and
personal with scientist,
inventors,
artist,
philanthropist and teachers.
All of these individuals share
common ground such as
having enormous
social sensitivity
and a deep respect for our environment.
Such riches of the world demanded the creation of a television program in where we can exhibit for the viewers the amazing knowledge and humanitarian treasures that they possess. Obviously, the great majority of them remain in anonymity and it is of vital importance that we hear their stories, their thought and what they are about so that they can become our great idols or examples for future generations to follow.
It’s becomes rewarding to honor these very important people. Throughout history we see how human intelligence have been put to the service of maximizing material wealth and the gain of riches without ever considering the irreparable damages that these actions have caused our environment and our society.
The Road of the Geniuses
Latin Wisdom commences its tour through all corners of
the American Continent, including Central and South America.
In
these places
we go in
search of interesting stories that unique characters create with their hands and
develop even further with their imagination.
For example,
we meet Don Roberto Robledo
who
landmarked the sound of
San Francisco by way if it’s famous
cable cars bells.
In Venezuela we met the greatest
representative of kinetic art in
the world,
Jesus Soto,
where his paintings and sculptures accomplish actual
movement.
In Bogota, Colombia, Mario Espinoza, curator of the famous Gold Museum, introduces us to the real story of El Dorado, the land of gold and riches that drove the Conquistadores to madness in the 16th and 17th century. Also, in Colombia we discover the route taken by Simon Bolivar while liberating five countries in South America.
We travel through Mexico and, amongst many discoveries, we find the pre-Hispanic culture of the Mayans and the Aztecs where the last great Mexican muralist Raul Anguiano describes, before his death, the reason for his art, the tequila route and the revolution as it was seen through the eyes of Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. We give homage to the best Mariachi in the world, Mariachi Vargas from Tecalitlan Jalisco, and to the women of tapatio eyes.
In Pasadena, California, NASA opened their doors to us and we got to meet scientists such as the one that worked developing the brains of robots that travel to the Red Planet. Also, the scientist that builds the lenses to the most powerful cameras that go to outer space, and the man in charge of coordinating the creation of the most powerful telescope ever built.
In Santa Anita, California, Jockey Lafitt Pinckey Jr. revealed how he earned the position of the greatest jockey in history. Also, in California, Carlos Bastar proves to us that he is the greatest creator of pyrotechnic displays or fireworks shows seen over all the skies in the world.
There are many more characters with extraordinary abilities, contributions and stories that you will be able to enjoy during our tour through Latin Wisdom, a journey of great wisdom and modesty.
